Cavity Eye at Fakuma 2026: A Week to Remember, a Success to Share

For the Cavity Eye team, Fakuma 2026 began before the exhibition doors opened. Our first colleagues set off on Friday, October 9, to build the stand and prepare for the week in Friedrichshafen. By Tuesday, Gergely Nagy, Gergely Hugyecz and Balázs Buglyó had joined to complete the team. Everyone had been looking forward to the event, and it became our most successful Fakuma yet.
From October 12–16, our stand in Hall A5 became a place to meet familiar faces, make new connections and discuss real injection molding challenges. Conversations covered recurring defects, cavity imbalance and lengthy mold trials. These practical questions gave us the opportunity to show how cavity pressure data helps explain what is happening inside the mold, even when machine parameters appear stable.
One of the highlights took place at the FANUC stand in Hall A7, where the new ROBOSHOT S180C ran a technical 16-cavity molding application featuring Cavity Eye pressure monitoring and simulation-based hot-runner balancing. Our team gave several live presentations, demonstrating the system in operation and explaining what the individual cavity pressure curves revealed. The enthusiastic audience response made these sessions especially rewarding, as visitors could follow the running process and discuss the data directly with our team.
At our own stand, visitors explored cavity pressure sensors, MOLDi and NET4.0 process monitoring alongside our engineering services, pilot projects, practical training and Injection Molding Mastery. Together, these reflected our approach: giving production teams both the technology to see more and the knowledge to put that information to work.
Seven languages. A summer of dedication. A milestone we are proud to share.
Injection Molding Mastery is now available in Hungarian, English, German, Polish, Italian, Portuguese and Czech. Behind this milestone lies an entire summer of work and a tremendous amount of effort from our team. For us, making the book available in seven languages means helping more injection molding professionals access practical knowledge in their own language. Bringing these editions to Fakuma and sharing the result of that work with visitors made this year’s exhibition especially meaningful.
Our team brought together Attila Szűcs, CEO; András Szűcs PhD, CTO; Dániel Vámos, COO; Szabolcs Horváth PhD, Key Account Manager; Gergely Hugyecz, Account Manager; Tibor Dombai, BDC Representative; Ulrich Bretthauer, Service Contact; Christopher Bretthauer, Account Manager; and Gergely Nagy and Balázs Buglyó, Electronics Developers. This mix of experience allowed visitors to speak directly with the people developing and supporting our technology.
The team’s enthusiasm and friendly, open approach helped create a welcoming atmosphere at the stand and played a part in the week’s success. Thank you to everyone who visited us and joined our demonstrations—we came home with new connections, shared experiences and plenty of motivation for what comes next.
